“Η Κολεκτίβα Doc4life αποτελεί δίκτυο Κοινωνικής Αλληλέγγυας και Συνεργατικής Οικονομίας στην Αθήνα. Our intention is to use our previous experience to create a substantially different working environment, with no employee/employer relationships, where everyone contributes according to his/her capabilities. We are an association of professionals, a cooperative society based on mutual respect and help.

doc4life is a specialized cooperative press agency that produces audiovisual products, stories, multimedia and documentaries in Greece, the Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean area. We are based in Athens, Greece and our clients are a variety of international media. We also offer fixing services, organize exhibitions, seminars and workshops and produce special periodicals.

doc4life is a commercial enterprise, owned by its members and directed and operated as a collective. It was created in late 2011, in the context of severe economic crisis in press, because of our common need to question the handling of image and news by the mainstream media. Journalists, graphic artists, photographers, filmmakers and artists were brought together by this need – and we created doc4life.”
