Όταν το παιδί σας έχει σπασμούς και τελικά γίνεται μπλε, αυτά τα
δευτερόλεπτα και τα λεπτά διαρκούν μια ζωή. Υπάρχουν 60 λεπτά σε μια
ώρα, 24 ώρες σε μια ημέρα, επτά μέρες σε μία εβδομάδα.

Η Νόβα είχε έως και δέκα διαφορετικά είδη επιληπτικών κρίσεων σε χρονικό διάστημα μίας ώρας.

συνεχόμενες μέρες; “

So much going on here in Colorado- our family is so blessed!!!!
Nothing but good news here!
Novaleighs seizure free streak is still going strong- and will hit 13
days with no seizure activity of any sort, tonight at midnight.
she is doing SO well, making eye contact, babbling, alert and aware, and so excited she will barley sleep.
As if that isn’t perfect enough, make a wish called me today while I
was sitting on the couch with novaleigh watching Barney. She asked me
what breed of service dog we wanted for
nova, and it all became so real and my face got hot and I just started
bawling on the phone with her wish granter. I couldn’t contain the
tears. i couldn’t stop saying “thank you, thank you!” Over and over
again.

Through the sniffles and the crying- I told her that our choice is a golden retriever.
They have one ready to go at Noelle’s Dogs Four Hope, and it’s a boy!!!!!
Novaleigh got to meet a golden while she was in the hospital, and
during our phone conversation, that image just stuck with me. That sweet
dog coming up onto the bed, and just staring at novaleigh, like she
just wanted to nurture and protect her. And nova, reaching out to pet
her fur. It was such a beautiful moment that will stay with me for a
lifetime. I think that novaleigh will be so excited to have a golden
retriever of her own.

I can’t believe this is happening for our
family. it feels so amazing. I feel so incredibly lucky to have been
given this opportunity for novaleigh to have more freedom, and a
companion That will protect her and grow with her. a super sidekick!
i guess it wouldn’t hurt to start thinking of names!!!!!

I also can’t believe we are fast approaching two weeks seizure free.
That takes my breath away. I couldn’t be any happier for nova. when you
can’t dry your eyes because your heart is so full of happiness and joy-
you know it is the good life.
